Björn Rafn Gunnarsson is a PhD researcher at the Department of Decision Sciences and Information Management, KU Leuven. In 2018, he completed his MSc. degree in Statistics at the Leuven Statistics Research Centre. Prior to moving to Belgium, Björn acquired considerable work experience working as a data analyst and managing quantitative research projects at the University of Iceland.
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Seppe vanden Broucke and Prof. Dr. Jochen De Weerdt, his PhD research focuses on advanced machine learning and statistical methods for process mining, operational analytics and credit scoring.
