María Óskarsdóttir received her BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Iceland in 2010 and a Masters degree in the same field from the Leibniz University in Hannover, Germany in 2014.
In September 2014 María joined Prof. Bart Baesens’ research group at the department of Decision Sciences and Information Management. Her PhD research areas include Data Mining, Marketing Analytics, Churn Prediction as well as Customer Segmentation, Costumer Lifetime Value Modeling and Net Lift Response Modeling using state of the art technology.
