Sandra Mitrović completed her 4-year undergraduate studies in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Montenegro. After working at different positions in Telco domain, she pursued and completed her Master Studies in Data Mining and Knowledge Management at Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 6 in France (M1), Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale in Italy (M2) and Haute École Spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale in Switzerland (master thesis internship).
Since November 2015, she is a Ph.D. researcher at the department of Decision Sciences and Information Management, KU Leuven, under the supervision of Prof. De Weerdt, Prof. Baesens, Prof. Snoeck and Prof. Lemahieu. Her research interest encompasses applications of Data Mining/Machine Learning techniques in different domains, Big Data Analytics, Information Retrieval, although her Ph.D. research is more focused on Customer and Marketing Analytic with special regard to areas such as Churn Prediction, Customer Behavior, Customer Lifetime Value, Personalized Selling (mostly, but not limited to telco and banking industry).
