Klaas Nelissen graduated with a Master in Business Economics: Information Systems Engineering from KU Leuven in 2014. During his final year as a student, he was president of Academics For Companies, the largest student-run junior enterprise of Belgium which organizes career building extra-curricular activities for students.
Since December 2014, Klaas is a PhD Researcher at the department of Decision Sciences and Information Management under guidance of Prof. dr. Bart Baesens, Prof. dr. Monique Snoeck and dr. Seppe vanden Broucke. He is doing research on measuring user engagement comprehensively. Klaas is also very interested in technology entrepreneurship and hopes that his research will one day lead to a start-up.
